One of the priorities of the state policy of Turkmenistan, consistently pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is all-round care for the young citizens of the country, the creation of the necessary conditions for their happy life and harmonious development, the formation of a physically strong and spiritually rich younger generation.

As you know, for these purposes, on the initiative and in accordance with the Resolution of the leader of the nation, a special Charitable Foundation was created in March this year to provide assistance to children in need of guardianship. This Fund, which was named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, carries out large-scale effective work. One of the examples of this is the allocation of new, equipped with modern equipment, ambulances for the pediatric departments of hospitals in etraps and cities of the velayats of the country.

Guided by the instructions of the head of state, in the capital's Scientific and Clinical Center for Maternal and Child Health, the Centers for Maternal and Child Health in Mary and Lebap velayats, a number of operations were carried out for children in need of guardianship. Now the condition of the young patients is satisfactory, they are under appropriate supervision by medical specialists. In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan made a decision to pay from the Charitable Fund the costs of surgical treatment of sick children, as well as appropriate medical supplies for young Turkmen citizens who are brought up and trained in orphanages, specialized schools and boarding schools.
