Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting of the State Security Council.

Opening the meeting, the nation’s leader gave the floor to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, head of the Turkmen alabaý itleri International Association Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who reported on the activities of the Association and the concrete steps taken to develop Cynology in the country.

The nation’s leader made a special emphasis on the importance of training service dogs for law enforcement agencies. Then the President of Turkmenistan listened to reports from the heads of military and law enforcement agencies on the results of the work done in the structures been in charge of.

The first speaker was Defense Minister B.Gundogdiyev, who reported on the state of affairs in military formations, practical steps taken over eleven months to increase the country’s defense capability and strengthen the power of the Armed Forces.

Then the Prosecutor General B.Atdaev reported on the results of the work carried out by the accountable institutions during the designated period and the fulfillment of the instructions previously given by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country on the introduction of a digital system into the activities of the Prosecutor’s office.

Then the Minister of Internal Affairs O.Khojanyyazov reported on the work done by subordinate structural units in January-November 2021, as well as practical steps taken to prevent offenses, ensure road safety rules, legal rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as on fire-fighting measures implemented.

Chairman of the Supreme Court G.Ussanepesov reported on the work carried out over the eleven months of this year, as well as on the practical steps being taken to successfully solve the tasks of improving the national judicial system.

Minister of National Security G.Annayev reported on the comprehensive measures implemented since the beginning of the year to maintain the situation of stability and tranquility in the country, as well as the ongoing training of personnel.

The head of the State Border Service Ya.Nuriyev reported on the results of its work for January-November 2021 and the fulfillment of the instructions previously given by the head of state regarding the creation of favorable conditions for the service and life of personnel, the provision of border units with modern facilities and equipment.

Then Adalat Minister M.Taganov reported on the results of the work carried out over the eleven months of this year, the implementation of the instructions of the Turkmen leader to improve the activities of this structure.

Chairman of the State Customs Service M.Khudaikulyev reported on the work done in January-November, as well as on the concrete steps taken to ensure proper inspection of goods crossing the border and modernization of the material and technical base of the department.

The Chairman of the State Migration Service N.Atagarayev reported on the work carried out over eleven months in order to implement the key direction of the state policy – the expansion of international cooperation.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Secretary of the State Security Council Ch.Amanov reported on the activities of supervised institutions for January-November 2021. A separate topic of the report was the steps being taken to fulfill the tasks assigned to the military and law enforcement agencies to introduce a digital system and advanced technologies, as well as to strengthen the personnel of law enforcement agencies and address social issues of military personnel.

Deputy Prime Minister, Secretary of the State Security Council submitted to the head of Turkmenistan a draft resolution on the establishment of the Economic Management of the country’s military and law enforcement agencies.

Having signed the submitted Resolution, the head of state ordered to keep the execution of the works outlined in this document in the center of constant attention.

Summing up the meeting, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country defined the main directions of development of law enforcement agencies in the near future, where an important place is given to an integrated approach to military and legal reforms aimed at further improving the activities of the relevant bodies.

The meeting considered a number of other important issues, and appropriate decisions were taken.

Concluding the meeting of the State Security Council, the President of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished all participants new success in fulfilling their responsible tasks.
