Today President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia organized in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the topic of the upcoming Consultative Meeting, which discussed the most important issues related to further development of the region.
A separate topic of discussion was partnership in such an important area of bilateral cooperation as transport and communication, promising due to the favorable geographic location and transit capabilities of neighboring countries.
At the end of the meeting, Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev addressed their best wishes to the fraternal peoples of both countries, expressing confidence that the high level of mutual understanding and trust inherent in the interstate dialogue will continue to serve as a reliable guarantor of further deepening and expanding traditional Turkmen-Kazakh relations.
