President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held video conference session with participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, who is in charge of agricultural complex, heads of Balkan Region and districts of the western region. The agenda included seasonal agricultural works, in particular the wheat harvesting.

Opening the session, the head of the state has given floor to Vice-premier E. Orazgeldiyev who reported on the rates of the harvest and practical measures undertaken for organized harvesting of without any loss in designated period.

As of today, 734,045 tons of wheat has been collected and the plan has been executed by 52.43 percent. All measures are undertaken for full use of harvesters and vehicles involved in transportation of collected grain as well as for uninterrupted work of reception facilities.

Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the need to collect the wheat harvest without any loss as soon as possible, full use of grain harvesters and other equipment, organization of uninterrupted work of reception facilities.

Further, working video conference session was continued with report of Governor of Balkan Region T. Atahalliyev who reported on measures undertaken in the western region for timely completion of the harvest of wheat, which was planted on 50,000 hectares. It was noted that works are carried out at full pace in this direction.

162 grain harvesters and 810 trucks are used in current wheat harvesting in the region. Uninterrupted reception of grain is arranged at four reception facilities. As of today, more than 26,312 tons of the wheat have been delivered to the bins of the Motherland and the plan was executed by 32.89 percent.

Further, the floor was given to Head of Bereket district N. Gylyjov who reported that agricultural personnel works tirelessly in order to collect all produced wheat planted on 18,400 hectares.

57 grain harvesters and 285 trucks are used for picking and transportation of grain to reception facilities. At present time, 7,192 tons of wheat have been harvested, which makes 24.32 percent of the plan.

On behalf of residents and farmers of the region, the head of the district has expressed sincere gratitude to the head of the state for support and conditions made for work and rest of grain producers and assured that all measures would be taken for timely completion of the harvest.

Having listened to the report, leader of the nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has requested to keep up the rates of works and take additional measures for their acceleration.

In his turn, Governor of Magtumguly district R. Saparberdiyev has reported that following the objectives given by the President of Turkmenistan for development of agricultural industry, relevant works have been carried out to meet the schedule of wheat harvesting, which was cultivated by the farmers of the district on 3,200 hectares.

As of today, grain producers have delivered 3,184 tons of wheat to the bins of the Motherland. The plan has been executed by 62.43 percent.

Head of Etrek district R. Nuriyev has reported on the rates of works performed for harvesting of wheat, which was grown by the farmers on 2,700 hectares, for fulfilment of objectives for provision of the food abundance of the country.

As of today, 1,040 tons of grain has been collected and delivered to reception facilities in the district, the plan has been performed by 24.19 percent.

The head of district administration has assured that making their contribution to the activity in accordance with far-seeing policy of the President of Turkmenistan, farmers of the district would put all efforts for collection of all produced wheat without any loss.

Further the floor was given to head of Esenguly district A. Esenov who reported that grain producers of the district continue harvesting the wheat, which was planted on 2,700 he caters, for fulfilment of objectives given by the leader of the nation for provision of food abundance in the country.

As of today, 1,015 tons of wheat has been delivered to the bins of the Motherland, the plan was fulfilled by 23.6 percent.

Summing up the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov requested to continue making all conditions for successful fulfilment of the plan of wheat production as well as for cultural recreation of agricultural personnel.

Governor of Serdar district M. Bayramguliyev has also reported on the measures for collection of grain produced on 23,000 hectares.

According to the objectives given by the head of the state for development of agricultural sphere and plan of production of wheat, 75 grain harvesters and 385 vehicles are used in the district. Three reception facilities receive collected grain all day around. 13,881 tons of grain, which is 37.72 percent of the plan, has been produced in the district.

Further, the leader of the nation has a video call with truck driver E. Chalov who is engaged in transportation of grain in Serdar district.

The driver has told that he works in Balkan Regional Production Association of the Türkmenawtoulaglary Agency driving KAMAZ truck, which was made in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation, for 15 years. E. Chalov has noted the reliability and high loading capacity of the vehicle, which is adapted to weather conditions of our country as well as expressed sincere gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for procurement of modern equipment and making of conditions for productive work.

Continuing conversation, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that perfectness and high productivity are the main criteria in selection of vehicles. The leader of the nation noted that local fleet of KAMAZ trucks would continue to be supplemented.

Having informed that due to active support of the President of Turkmenistan, good yield of wheat, which harvesting is continued at high rates these days, has been produced, truck driver E. Chalov noted he transports 15 tons of grain per each trip and makes 3 – 4 trips per day.

Head of the state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has also asked if anybody from his family is also engaged in this activity.it was found out that father of Eziz, who is retired now, has been working as a driver for 50 years.

“Well done! As people say, a son continues work of his father”, - the President said and, having wished success in work to the driver, asked what he is going to do after the harvest and about his future plans.

The driver said that he would go back to his previous work – construction of Ashgabat – Turkmenabat highway. Having expressed gratitude for conditions made for fruitful work, E. Chalov wished the head of the state good health, longevity and success in his grandiose activity for the interests of the country and nation.

Further, addressing the participants of working video conference session, the head of the state has given number of instructions to the participants.

Provision of proper storage of the wheat – a symbol of prosperity of Turkmen people and guarantee of food abundance of the country, in barns and grain elevators has been specified among the main objectives.

It was highlighted that it is also necessary to settle payments with the producers for delivered grain as well as to plough the fields released after the harvest and prepare the land to the next sowing season using tractors.

Addressing head of administration of Balkan Region T. Atahalliyev and heads of districts of the region, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished them big success in the grain harvest and work for provision of food abundance of the country.

“I am confident that you will fulfil contractual obligation for production of grain and fill the bins of the Motherland with rich yield of wheat”, - the leader of the nation highlighted.
