The award ceremony of high state awards to the best employees of various branches of national economy, personnel of ministries, departments and organization, cultural workers who made big personal contribution to social and economic development of Ashgabat took place on occasion of the 140th anniversary of the capital.

Honoring of fellow countrymen, who received awards for old, honest and exemplary work, is another bright indication of the respect paid in the country to professionals who give their experience, knowledge and talent to selfless service to the Motherland. Such people – committed, talented, who exemplary perform their duties and try to make benefit for the Motherland, are examples for the youth.

At the request of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Speaker of the Mejlis of National Assembly of Turkmenistan, heads of profile ministries and departments, public organizations took part in the event.

Receiving the awards with the feeling of sincere pride and anxiety, the participants of the event expressed gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for high appreciation of their work. It was mentioned that every year of independent development of Turkmenistan is filled with glorious political, economic and cultural events.
