Meeting between Vice-premier, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Vice-premier, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Chairman of the Committee for Foreign Relations of Saint Petersburg Eugene Grigoryev and Director of Vozrozhdeniye Group of Project and Construction Companies Igor Bukato, who arrived in our country, has been held in Ashgabat.

Positive dynamics of cooperation between Turkmenistan and regions of the Russian Federation has been noted during the conversation. In this context, the efficiency of the partnership with Saint Petersburg, where both sides have significant potential for activation of the dialog, has been highlighted.

The Roadmap of cooperation in trade and economic, scientific and technical, cultural and humanitarian spheres in 2020 – 2025, which was approved in February 2020, determines the vectors of beneficial partnership.

Leading companies of Saint Petersburg, including Vozrozdeniye, United Shipyard Company, are an old and reliable partners of Turkmen side.

At present time, the sides work successfully in construction sphere, road and transport infrastructure, ship building, education and culture. In addition, meetings of representatives of the government sector, business communities and cultural personnel have become regular.
