The Public Organizations Centre hosted the ceremony of awarding the winners of a creative contest dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the Turkmen capital.
Photos, video clips and articles about the white marble capital were posted on TV and radio channels, Internet sites. The active work was done to publish them in national and foreign mass media.
Contest participants dedicated their performances to the conceptual directions of Ashgabat's architecture in the light of modern technologies and taking into account the world urban planning experience, the prospects for the development of the industrial, transport and energy infrastructure of the city.
Separate reports were devoted to the history and modern development of Ashgabat, its architecture, as well as green decoration as an integral part of the urban environment and an important indicator of ecological cleanness.
Then the ceremony of awarding the winners of the creative competition took place.
The jury selected five laureates of the competition. Among them are A. Ishbayeva, a researcher at the Institute of State, Law and Democracy, J. Garajayev, coordinator for the trade unions of power engineers of the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Council, A. Orazov, a senior teacher of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
A. Rejepov, a specialist in the creative department of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, is the winner of the best poem nomination, and the works by Ashgabat newspaper photographer A. Mulikov were recognized as the best photos.
