The Mekan Palace of the capital has hosted presentation of book of the President of Turkmenistan “White City Ashgabat”. Vice-premier, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the event organized by the Supreme Control Chamber of Turkmenistan.

Exhibition dedicated to the history and traditions of Turkmen people, achievements of modern epoch has forestalled the ceremony. Works of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov have taken deserving lace in the exposition.

The participants noted in their speeches during the presentation that the capital of independent neutral Turkmenistan embodies major success achieved by the country for the years of independence in its magnificent image as well as creative energy of Turkmen people. Many architectural facilities of Ashgabat with its unique features are listed in the Guinness Record Book.

Release of new book of Turkmen leader, which has become an excellent present to fellow countrymen on occasion of the anniversary of the capital, gives opportunity to wide reading auditorium to learn important pages of biography of Ashgabat, to feel the spirit of history, rhythm of reforms, to look into the future of the main city of the country.

Performance of art masters, who expressed their love of Ashgabat – the city, which become a hallmark of independent neutral Turkmenistan, was a bright final chord of the event.
