President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.  

Having warmly greeted each other, the leaders of two countries exchanged congratulations on Eid Al Fitr and addressed wishes of wealth and prosperity to Turkmen and Kyrgyz nations.

The sides have expressed the confidence that this bright holiday, which embodies human moral values and spiritual growth, supports the development of friendly interstate relations.

The head of Kyrgyzstan has expressed deep condolences on big loss, the death of the father Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov and conveyed the words of deep sympathy and support on behalf of Kyrgyz people.

Having extended gratitude for condolences to President Sadyr Japarov, Turkmen leader highlighted that he highly appreciates the support and values that the people of Kyrgyzstan and his its leader share deep sorrow and pain of the loss.

Continuing telephone conversation, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has congratulated his colleague on successful referendum and adoption of new Constitution, having highlighted that the Min Law would serve as a solid foundation of further development of Kyrgyzstan and promote successful implementation of major reforms aimed at improvement of wellbeing of Kyrgyz people.

The head of Turkmenistan has noted that constructive relations based on the principles of good neighborliness and understanding receive more dynamic and steadfast character. In this regard, it was highlighted that our countries have managed to enter new level of cooperation in many spheres, especially in political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, in the last years.

During the conversation, the leaders of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan discussed the priorities of bilateral cooperation, having made special mention of the importance of business meetings, which promote the establishment and activation of productive contacts, including between business circles of two countries.

Stating high level and dynamics of interstate cooperation, Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Sadyr Japarov highlighted the importance of expansion of the partnership in humanitarian sphere, in particular, in stimulation of scientific and educational relations and cultural dialog.

The sides have also shared the views on current issues of regional and international problems, which present mutual interest. The commitment of two countries to constructive cooperation under competent organizations, first of all, under the UN, CIS and other, has been confirmed.

The leaders of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyz Republic highlighted that all efforts would be put in the future for activation of multilateral cooperation.

In the end of the telephone conversation, Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Sadyr Japarov have congratulated again each other on the sacred Muslim holiday of Eid Al Fitr addressing fraternal people with wishes of peace and prosperity.
