Opening of the complex of International Association «Türkmen alabaý itleri» has been held in Ashgabat. Opening ceremonies of quarantine center in Ahal Region, centers of Turkmen shepherd dog in Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebapm Mary Regions in Ashgabat have been held in video conference mode.

Art masters of the country performed dance composition on occasion of remarkable event on the square in front of the complex. In solemn atmosphere, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, head of International Ahalteke Equestrian Association and International Association «Türkmen alabaý itleri» Serdar Berdimuhamedov cut traditional ribbon opening profile facility by this.

It is worth to mention that these days, the complex of International Association was certified by International Organization Alberk QA Academy for implementation and compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2015 Environment Management System standards.

The facility has been built in one of picturesque parts of the Kopetdag foothills as local landscape matches these purposes perfectly. Its construction has been carried out by the efforts of Myradym Private Company, which was general contractor that completed all works according to set requirements.

Administrative office, personnel building, recreation facility have been built in the complex.

It also has two auxiliary facilities for dogs and shelters for 20 animals each, premises for feeding dogs, building for veterinary service and quarantine room. Naturally, all necessary sanitary measures are provided in enclosures.

In addition, it has special stadium with stands for 1,000 seats for the dog-walking and for demonstration events. It is separated from training ground for serious training with a fence. The training ground is represented by obstacle course for training of animals. The complex has garages for transport including specialized vehicles for dog’s transportation, technical and other auxiliary facilities.

The goals of the complex includes the provision of safe and comfort keeping of animals, preventing escape and getting injured, veterinary control and provision of medical care if necessary, organization of timely feeding, walk out on fresh air, compliance with sanitary and hygiene standards.

Therefore, the project developers have analyzed and took into account the requirements of various services, which complex can offer, as well the world practice.

It is worth to mention that surrounding territory is developed and green zones are made.

On the way to the main building of the complex of International Association «Türkmen alabaý itleri», the participants of the ceremony have looked around the exhibition of artist and sculptor works. Having looked around bright expositions, the participants went to the place of celebration ceremony.

Vice-premier, head of International Ahalteke Equestrian Association and International Association «Türkmen alabaý itleri» Serdar Merdimuhamedov has addressed greeting speech to the participants of the ceremony.

It was highlighted that modern facilities – the complex of International Association «Türkmen alabaý itleri», quarantine center in Ahal Region as well as Turkmen Shepherd Dog centers in Ashgabat, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary regions, have been opened on National Turkmen Horse Holiday and Turkmen Shepherd Dog Holiday. It indicates the attention paid on the government level to national heritage – Turkmen shepherd dogs, S. Berdimuhamedov highlighted.

In this context, confidence has been expressed that opening of new facilities would give broad opportunities for breeding and increment of livestock of these dogs, protection of purity of this breed, organization of exhibitions and contests of Turkmen shepherd dogs in the country and abroad.

Having congratulated the participants of current events, Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed gratitude to the President of the country on behalf of all dog breeders of the country for conditions made for improvement of the world glory of Turkmen dogs.

Further, video conference, which united the participants of the opening ceremonies of quarantine center in Ahal Region as well as Turkmen Sheherd Dog centers in Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap, Mary Regions and in Ashgabat, has been held.

The marathon of direct connections allowed looking into different parts of the country and seeing how the events on occasion of opening of new facilities are held.

First, Ahal Region has joined video conference. The congratulations on occasion of current events are followed by the opening ceremony of the quarantine center of Turkmen shepherd dog.

The territory of the center is divided into number of functional zones, which include the complex of relative facilities. The quarantine center, which was built in Ahal Region, meets all requirements set for the similar facilities. It has all conditions for keeping and efficient veterinary services of Turkmen dogs.

Further, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap, Balkan, Mary regions and Ashgabat, where opening of the centers of Turkmen shepherd dogs with innovative equipment have taken place, join video conference in turn.

Total area of each new facility is one hectare, which accommodate exhibition ground, tribune, administrative office, facilities of adult dogs, 2 – 6 months cubs and pregnant dogs, shelter and washing facility, veterinary and quarantine services.

The facilities meet all requirements for breeding dogs as well as for fruitful work of breeding specialists, vet doctors and other experts. The centers have car parking, canteen and other facilities. Modern construction materials, which are distinguished with high operational characteristics and eco-friendliness were used during construction.

Having expressed gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for his limitless love and fatherly care of Turkmen dogs , the participants of the ceremonies wished the head of the state good health, longevity and new success in his activity of the post of the head of the state.

Further, new complex of International Association «Türkmen alabaý itleri» has hosted final round of international contest «Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy» and summing up of the results of art contest in honor of Turkmen shepherd dog for the first time.

The art contest allowed carpet makers, photographers, publishing specialists and TV operators to actualize the subject and present number of interesting creative works dedicated to Turkmen shepherd dogs. The main idea of the contest to show the role of this beautiful and intelligent creature in life of Turkmen people.

Turkmen shepherd dogs was presented from various views and in different plots – resting and on the move, on the background nature, among spring meadows, during hunting, in scenes of rural life, in traditional ceremonies, next to children and sheep flocks, which they protect.

Such wonderful characteristics of the dog as strength and endurance, reliability and boldness, loyalty, readiness to share the joy and troubles, kind attitude to all family members have been presented in creative form.

Excellent beautiful dogs were captured on picturesque carpets, in fine jewelry, ceramics, metal, stone, wood and other materials. Souvenirs picturing Turkmen shepherd dog and wonderful photos have been demonstrated. At the same time, each item was distinguished with its ow tone full of admiration and respect to this beautiful and brave animal.

Certain works impressed with photographic precision of subtle details. Some works presented the combination of arts. It includes printing production, which presents joint work of computer designers and photographers.

Famous masters and beginners took part in the contest. The best works were selected according to nominations.

Interesting competitions demonstrating the best features of unique dog breed has forestalled the art contest award ceremony.

Ten best dogs from different regions of the country, which were selected at qualification rounds, have been brought out to the stage.

Name, age, bloodline and owner were announced to the jury and public. All finalists continue their own breed line, which goes to famous ancestors, and numerous experts of the breed were able to assess features typical for thoroughbred Turkmen dogs.

The exterior of the dogs strikes with smooth lines, harmonious and proportional build. The features of the dog – massive head, powerful neck, broad chest, strong limbs and lower back, well developed respiratory system, are clearly expressed.

This contest, which is aimed at stimulation of development of the best traditions of national horse breeding, is to give new impulse to improvement pf methods related to breeding, preservation of purity, popularization of the breed in the world.

Numerous lovers of this unique dog were able to appreciate not only their wonderful exterior but also the boldness and training demonstrated at the competitions, during which canine specialists sends the dog along the obstacle course. Speed and accuracy are taken into account during covering of the course.

Specific tasks were given to the contesters including obstacle course.

The time to sum up the results of the contests and to announce the decision of competent jury, which was composed of profile specialists having big experience and skills, has come.

Chairman of the jury, People’s Artist of Turkmenistan has announced the winners of international contest «Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy» and creative contest for artistic image of Turkmen shepherd dogs.

Relative certificates and valuable prizes have been awarded on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the following winners:

D. Hudayberdiyev, movie producer and operator of Oguzkhan Turkemnfilm Association of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography for the best operator work «Türkmen alabaýy» about the fearlessness of Turkmen dog.

Dog Akhan from the State Border Guard Servcie was awarded with title «Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy».

Special medal was put on the neck of the winner and representative of the Border Guard Service received the main prize of the President of Turkmenistan – Toyota vehicle and challenging cup.

Expressing gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for high appreciation of their work and special attention paid to the development of dog breeding, the winners of the contest assured that they would put all efforts for improvement of the world glory of Turkmen dogs.

On occasion of Turkmen Shepherd Dog Holiday, which is observed for the first time in the country, a cub of Turkmen dog Akbash was presented to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on behalf of the dog breeders of the country.
