During the session of the Government, Vice-premier M. Mammedova has informed the head of the state on preparation of events dedicated to National Spring Holiday – International Nowruz Day.

Nationwide tree planting actions will be held all around the country on the day before the celebration, on March 20. The activities reflecting the customs and traditions of Turkmen nation, including those which are registered in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List, modern achievements of the country in development of cultural and art sphere, will be held in the capital and regions on the celebration day.

Exhibitions of visual, decorative and applied art articles, museum values, agricultural production and textile industry will be organized. The Celebration of Peace concert will be held in honor of National Spring Holiday in the Mukams Palace.

Having focused in international importance, ethical, philosophic and cultural component of Nowruz Celebration, which goes deep into centuries, the President highlighted its consolidating role in modern world. All celebration events have to be organized on high level, the head of the state said.
