Relative activities are carried out under the preparation to the elections of members of the People’s Council of National Assembly of Turkmenistan on March 28 this year. Meetings with electorate – the members of the People’s Councils of the regions and Ashgabat, has started.

Equal conditions have been made of all candidates for introduction of their programs to the members of the People’s Council. Biographies of the candidates to the members of the People’s Council of National Assembly have been published in press. Information about coming elections is regularly updated on the website of the Central Election and Referendum Commission of Turkmenistan. 

The meeting were held in Ahal and Balkan Regions as well as in Ashgabat. Authorized representatives of the candidates have presented their biographies and programs at the meetings. The candidates assured the electorate that they would put all efforts to justify the rendered trust.

The participants of the meetings highlighted that establishment of new two-chamber system of National Parliament would make favorable conditions for strengthening of legal base of development of our country and enhancement of the efficiency of work of the government authorities.
