On January 28, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan held online meeting with a group of experts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) headed by Natalia Tamirisa. Exchanging views, meeting participants summed up the results of ten-day meetings of IMF experts with heads and specialists of a number of ministries and sectoral departments of our country, within the framework of which medium-term prospects for economic development were discussed, the state of the Turkmen economy was analyzed. IMF experts expressed gratitude to the state departments of Turkmenistan for informative and constructive cooperation, declaring their willingness to continue providing support in the implementation of the socially oriented policy pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov that contributes to the progress of the country and well-being of its citizens.
