The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution instructing the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, khyakimliks of Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats: - to ensure the production of appropriate volumes of cotton throughout the country in 2021, as well as the high level of work of tenants, land users and landowners; - to distribute cotton seeds among etraps, taking into account soil and climatic conditions, according to the plan approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection. Based on the contracts to be concluded with cotton producers, it is instructed: - The Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection – to provide cotton growers with the necessary volumes of high-quality cotton seeds, technical services related to the preparation of land for cotton sowing and harvesting campaigns; - The State Committee for Water Management - to provide cotton growers with irrigation water; - The ""Türkmenhimiýa"" State Concern - to provide cotton growers with fertilizers.
