The President of Turkmenistan signs the Order on award of foreign citizens with «Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 25 ýyllygyna» anniversary medal of Turkmenistan on December 11, 2020. The preamble of the Order says the following: Independent Turkmenistan celebrates glorious holiday, the 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality, which is marked with big success, in international level. The policy of neutrality is a policy of solidarity, peace and good neighborliness. The policy of neutrality of our independent Motherland is aimed at development of friendly and fraternal relations with all countries of the planet, provision of prosperous and happy life of native people. Based on its legal status of neutrality, our independent Motherland steadily develops beneficial cooperation with the states of the world. Leading international organizations and successfully implements joint international projects in various spheres. International cooperation of independent neutral Turkmenistan gives strong impulse to development of the branches of national economy, science and education, mutual enrichment of national cultures, attraction of foreign investments to the country. Foreign citizens also make big contribution to great success achieved by our independent Motherland, to development of the branches of the economy, expansion of beneficial cooperation. Taking into account the merits in strengthening of independence, sovereignty and legal status of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, strengthening of the authority of the Motherland in the world arena and development of international relations as well as on occasion of the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality, the President of Turkmenistan has awarded the Bitaraplyk Order of Turkmenistan to Natalya Drozd, the Head of the Center of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Ashgabat; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Turkmenistan Alexander Blokhin, Instructor, Spaceman and Test Pilot of the State Corporation for Space Activity “ROSKOSMOS” of the Federal State Budgetary establishment “Y. A. Gagarin Scientific, Research, Test and Training Space Center” of the Russian Federation, Commander of Space Detachment Oleg Kononenko, Secretary General of the United Nations Organization António Manuel de Oliveira Guterres, personnel of the UN, heads and representatives of international organizations and international experts have been awarded with «Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 25 ýyllygyna» anniversary medal of Turkmenistan.
