The members of the Interparliamentary Friendship Group of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan Priority discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation in the framework of the online meeting. During the meeting, special emphasis was placed on the importance of expanding multifaceted cooperation in the political and cultural fields, as well as exchange of accumulated experience, theoretical knowledge and practice of their application in order to strengthen the inter-parliamentary dialogue, that President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov pays great attention to in the successful implementation of the foreign policy strategy of Turkmenistan. The participants of the meeting exchanged views on important issues of partnership within the framework of bilateral and regional relations, emphasizing the commitment of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan to the comprehensive strengthening of good-neighborly relations, as well as fruitful interaction in the format of authoritative international organizations and structures.
