Today, the conference hall of the Centre of Public Organizations hosted the honouring ceremony of activists of Magtumguly Youth Organization, which was timed to the anniversary of its foundation. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highly appreciates the activity of Turkmen youth noting that the youth is “a power and strength, honour and authority as well as great future of the Motherland!”. The Leader of the Nation pays special attention to moral and spiritual, cultural, educational and physical development of younger generation, making of favourable conditions for them to receive good e and harmonic education. Today, support of the youth in mastering of modern professions, improvement of theoretical knowledge, enhancement of practical skills, study of digital technologies, new scientific ideas, advanced researches and technological practice is one of the main objectives. Making speech to the participants of the VI Assembly of Magtumguly Youth Organization in September 2019, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has given specific objectives to Turkmen youth as well as specified the main directions of work in the sphere of the government youth policy and national development strategies. It includes the provision of legal and social protection of the youth, propaganda of spiritual, moral and cultural values, popularization of the principles of healthy life style, education of patriotism, civic responsibility as well as support and encouragement of youth’s including entrepreneurship initiatives. The government policy in this field is closely connected with the activity of Magtumguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, which unites more than 900,000 members and is the biggest public association in the country, which expressed interests of young citizens. From the day of its foundation on November 16, 1991, this structure carries out efficient work for education of physically strong, spiritual and moral youth, hardworking, capable generation dedicated to the Motherland. It has become a good tradition to honour young people for deserving contribution to strengthening of the state sovereignty and progress of the country, big achievements in work and art on the day of foundation of the Youth Organization. This year, which is held under slogan “Turkmenistan – Home of Neutrality”, 47 people from all regions and Ashgabat, who distinguished themselves in cultural, scientific and technological, educational spheres, sport and healthcare and other fields have been awarded with relative certificates and valuable gifts. There are tutors, postgraduates, students of schools and universities, members of art collectives, journalists, personnel of various ministries and departments. It is remarkable that local smart Tolkun TV sets made by «Aýdyň gijeler» business entity including by young specialists who have actively joined the implementation of the program of establishment and development of electronic industry initiated by the Head of Turkmenistan, have been chosen as the gifts. The participants of the ceremony have expressed deep gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for his home and foreign policy, which supports the implementation of the potential of Turkmen youth, having assured the Head of the State that the youth of the country would continue making deserved contribution to the development of the Motherland, its further prosperity and improvement of glorious victories and achievements of our people. An exhibition, which was dedicated to the achievements of the country, as well as concert of art collectives have been organized on occasion of current event in the Centre of Public Organizations.
