Session of the Government Commission for study of issues related to the joining of WTO takes place

Session of the Government Commission for study of issues of joining of Turkmenistan to the World Trade Organization was held in video conference format. Heads and representatives of number of relative ministries and departments of the country took part in the session. The delegation of the World Trade organization was chaired by the WHO Joining Department Mayka Oshikava. During video conference session, the sides have discussed in details all point of the Draft Joint Action Plan of Turkmenistan and WHO and reviewed the subjects related to the adoption of this document. In addition, the sides have also exchanged the views on the Draft Action Plan for development of the Memorandum of foreign trade mode of Turkmenistan, which has been elaborated with the support of the Asian Development Bank. The Turkmen side has also proposed to organize round table session dedicated to the Turkmenistan’s observer status in the WTO.
