At the session of the Government on September 4, Vice-premier Ch. Gylyjov has informed that Head of the State about work for increment of production of carpets as well as for provision of local and foreign markets with carpet production. In this aspect, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that Turkmen carpets are carpets are samples of beauty, which improved the treasury of human civilization. Turkmen carpets are registered in the UNESCO World Intangible Heritage List. This is an evidence of recognition of wonderful masterpieces made by skillful hands and talents of Turkmen women by the world community, an unparalleled example of national craft, the Head of the State noted. The country carries out big work for full satisfaction of internal demand on eco-friendly national production, which is distinguished with high quality, for wide popularization of carpets in the world, increment of export potential of Turkmenistan, the Head of the State said, having pointed out the necessity to continue this activity.
