President, Chairman of the Constitutional Commission of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution, approving of the draft Constitutional Law ""On Amendments to the Constitution of Turkmenistan"" and its submission to the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan. According to the document, in order to approve the draft Constitutional Law ""On Amendments to the Constitution of Turkmenistan"", prepared based on the outcomes of work of the Constitutional commission on proposals on amending the Constitution of Turkmenistan (henceforth referred as the Constitutional Commission) that was established on the basis of initiatives put forward with the aim to improve the Constitution of Turkmenistan, as well as to discuss and ensure its adoption, the Constitutional Commission approves: 1.The work on the draft Constitutional Law of Turkmenistan ""On Amendments and Additions to the Constitution of Turkmenistan"" is generally considered completed. 2.To hold meetings with velayat representatives, who will take part in the next meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, to discuss the draft Constitutional Law of Turkmenistan ""On Amendments to the Constitution of Turkmenistan"" in velayats, etraps and cities of the country. 3.To submit the draft Constitutional Law of Turkmenistan ""On Amendments to the Constitution of Turkmenistan"" to the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan. 4.Upon approval of the draft Constitutional Law of Turkmenistan ""On Amendments to the Constitution of Turkmenistan"" by the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, propose this draft Constitutional Law to the Mejlis of Turkmenistan for consideration.
