Turkmen students have successfully performed at the Students’ International Olympiads, including the 16th one on Mathematics, the 8th on Chemistry, and the 2nd on Statistics, which were held in Hamadan city, the Islamic Republic of Iran. These academic competitions that took place on August15-19, 2015 were attended by more than 60 gifted students from the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Russian Federation, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of India, Iraq, Oman, Sri Lanka, and Turkmenistan. Our country was represented by students of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University and the Turkmen State Institute of Economy and Management. Palvan Agamyradov, 3rd year student of the Mathematics Faculty of Magtymguly Turkmen State University and Eziz Naryev, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology of the namesake university won bronze medals at the 16th International Olympiad on Mathematics, and at the 8th International Olympiad on Chemistry. In the team event, students of the Turkmen State Institute of Economy and Management won 2nd place in statistics, and students of the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology of Magtymguly Turkmen State University took 3rd place in chemistry.
