Telephone conversation was held between the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov. Having warmly greeted Turkmen leader, the Head of Kyrgyzstan congratulated him on his birthday and wished him strong health, prosperity and success in his government activity, which is aimed at dynamic social and economic development of sovereign Turkmenistan and steadfast growth of wealth of the population. Having expressed gratitude for congratulation and good wishes, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed satisfaction with the opportunity to share the views with his colleague on the subjects of multidimensional interstate cooperation, which is built on bilateral and multilateral formats on the principles of trust, equality and understanding. Having stated with delight that Turkmen – Kyrgyz dialog is based on strong foundation of good neighbourliness, old friendship, spiritual, historical and cultural similarity of two fraternal nations, the sides expressed unanimous opinion on activation of cooperation in number of perspective directions. It was highlighted that bilateral relations have received new content and entered new level in the last few years, which is mainly provided by regular talks as well as visits on high and government levels. Having highly appreciated the realization of previous agreements, the heads of two states agreed on fundamental approaches to further building of beneficial partnership, which, by common opinion, has colossal potential. In particular, having highlighted importance of development of trade and economic cooperation, the sides noted the relevance of elaboration on the subject of expansion of variety of goods and services, making conditions for direct communication between representatives of business circles of two countries. The sides have also discussed current subjects of international and regional political situation, which presents mutual interest. In the end of the conversation, Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Sooronbay Jeenbekov exchanged good wishes, having addressed peace, stability and new success on the way of large-scale changes to the peoples of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan.
