President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of the Chairperson of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, and heads of military and law enforcement agencies. The meeting agenda included the condition of agricultural lands, the main directions for the further improvement of national legislation, and the tasks for the future. During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister E. Orazgeldiev reported on the preparations for the upcoming working trips of the President of Turkmenistan to the Dashoguz and Balkan regions, as well as on the progress of agricultural campaigns in these regions. Commenting on the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the comprehensive and responsible approach should be taken to developing the agricultural industry and the tasks in this direction. The President of Turkmenistan emphasized that the most important thing today was to hold the mowing campaign in an organized manner and addressed specific instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister. The President of Turkmenistan instructed the relevant officials to settle accounts with tenants without any delays, and organize sales units and cultural events for seasonal workers. It is necessary to ensure uninterrupted and coordinated work of agricultural machinery, for this purpose it is necessary to establish the proper operation of maintenance points. Mammedova informed the Turkmen leader about the preparations for the 10th meeting of the Mejlis of the sixth convocation, which is scheduled for next Saturday. Among the topics discussed by parliamentarians are the tasks on modernizing the legislation of the country, preparing new laws, aimed at developing all sectors of the national economy. The President underlined the importance to improve the legislative framework of Turkmenistan in order to legislatively consolidate all large-scale work carried out in various fields.
