“Let me extend my congratulations on International Day for Protection of Children! Care of growing generation is a reflection of our well-thought steps toward light future”, - congratulation message of the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to people of Turkmenistan says. “We have adopted the Programme of improvement of activity of pre-school facilities in early child development and preparation of child to school in Turkmenistan for 2020 – 2025 for improvement of role of International Child Day, which is observed in the year of the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan, and for improvement of work of children pre-school facilities.” It visually confirms that every deed, every grandiose beginning in the country are aimed at provision of happy life of children. The power of the state is in happiness of our children. Therefore, following slogan “State for Human Being!”, we make all conditions for intellectual, physical and spiritual development of youth in order it would be able to study, go in for sport and be engaged in creative activity. Social policy, cultural and economic reforms in this direction are first targeted to protection of health of mother and child, provision of comprehensive and harmonic development of children, conditions for active and creative life of growing generation. Modern children health improving facilities, kindergartens, schools, health centres have been built in Ashgabat, velayats, picturesque gorge of the Kopetdag, on Caspian coast for the short period. According to National Strategy of Turkmenistan for early child development in 2020 – 2025, activity for provision of small children with necessary medical service, food, pre-school education is continued. We aim at development of comprehensive cooperation with other states, leading international and regional organizations, consolidation of efforts with the United Nations Children Fund. Joining to the World Declaration on provision of survival, protection and development of children, the UN Convention on children rights, Hague Convention on civil aspects of international child robbery proves responsible approach of Turkmenistan to fulfilment of undertaken obligations. In the partnership with the world Health Organization and United Nations Children Fund, the country carries out efficient work for enrichment of salt with iodine and flour with iron and folic acid. Election of Turkmenistan to the Executive council of the UN Children Fund in 2018 – 2020 and Commission of Women Status in 2018 – 2022 demonstrates success of cooperation with United Nations Organization. Provision of happy life, modern education to our children, their upbringing in the spirit of patriotism and humanity are high targets and guarantee of power and progress of the Motherland”, - the message says.
