Delegation of Turkmenistan will take part in regular session of the Council of the Head of the Governments of the CIS countries, which will be held in video conference format on May 29 this year. It is planned to review number of issues of organizational aspect as well as subjects related to cooperation in economic, transport, cultural, sport and tourism and other spheres under the agenda. As is known, Declaration on strategic economic cooperation between members of the Commonwealth of Independent States has been adopted by the outcomes of the session of the Council of the Heads of the Governments of the CIS in Ashgabat on October 11 last year. Based on its main direction, work for elaboration of the Draft Strategy of economic development of the CIS until 2030, which is in the final stage, is carried out at present. Development of the Action Plan regarding to the declaration of 2019 as a year of architecture and urban construction in the CIS by initiative of Turkmen leader is under process. Following constructive proposals of the Head of Turkmenistan made on the CIS Summit in 2017 in Sochi, relative joint work has been carried out for definition of priority directions of cooperation between members of the Commonwealth and development of draft of relative document. Our country also takes active part in activity for regular organization of sport games under the CIS, improvement of their prestige in international arena. Following this, the CIS members have developed Draft Strategy of cooperation development in the sphere of physical culture and sport in coming decade. It is planned to organize Working Meeting in video conference format with participation of representatives of all CIS countries on May 27 for final agreement on draft documents, which are to be reviewed at the session of the Council of the Heads of the Governments of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
