The heads of the State News Agency of Turkmenistan TDH and the State News Agency of Belarus - BelTA held online talks in a video format. The agenda of the meeting was the further development of cooperation in frames of the recently signed Memorandum of Cooperation on the exchange of news materials. In this regard, the meeting participants emphasized the role and mission of mass media in strengthening and expanding interstate relations, the implementation of agreements, achieved between Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Alexander Lukashenko. The heads of TDH and BelTA briefly discussed the Turkmen-Belarusian relations in various areas of economy as well as humanitarian sphere. The prospects for intensifying information contacts, establishing new forms of work and the possibility of joint projects in the sphere of journalism were outlined during the meeting. The heads of TDH and BelTA expressed their willingness to study the issues of cooperation and the proposals put forward during the online meeting. It was underlined the importance of holding media forums, conferences, round tables, including in online format, with the participation of authoritative representatives of the expert and media community, the exchange of experience in the field of digitalization of media.
