On the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the news agencies of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan presented a joint project - a photo exhibition dedicated to the heroic generation of the winners in the fight against fascism. The exposition included 90 photographs, each of which stands as the evidence of difficulties that the peoples survived fighting against the common enemy, the evidence of the bitterness of loss and the joy of the Victory, the evidence of labor exploits in home front. The heroes, who forged the Great Victory, have passed away with every passing year. Therefore, photo evidence of those difficult times, the hardships that they endured with dignity have become more valuable, and our memory and gratitude for the happiness of a peaceful life are great. Although this year, the coronavirus pandemic has modified the plans for the celebration of the Victory Day, we are united by the common history and the common memory, and this photo exhibition is a visible confirmation of this.
