The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Protection, administrations of Balkan and Mary Velayats to provide the production of sugar beets in etraps of the above-mentioned regions using scientifically based crop rotation. In general, it is planned to produce 224,000 tons of sugar beet from 17,900 hectares allocated for crop – 24,000 tons from 3,000 hectares in Balkan Velayat and 200,000 tons from 14,900 hectares in Mary Velayat.
