The first international research and practice online conference took place at Oguzkhan Engineering and Technology University. The event in the format of a videoconference meeting brought together scientists from our country, Japan, Germany, Bulgaria, Romania and Vietnam, as well as the university professors of Turkmen and foreign institutes. In particular, the representatives of the Institute of Chemistry of Turkmenistan and the Centre for Technology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering of Turkmenistan, the International University of Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan, and students took part in the meeting. Teachers from the universities of Kanagawa, Hirosaki, Tohoku (Japan), ""Angel Kanchev"" University of Ruse (Bulgaria), Politehnica University of Bucharest (Romania) gave lectures on relevant topics. Among them are technologies for producing silicon carbide nanolayers and the production of semiconducting electronic devices, the use of nanomaterials in the energy sector, including those based on renewable energy sources, the methods for using robotics in the field of environmental protection and solving environmental problems among others. According to experts, these projects and ideas can be modernized and adapted for implementation in Turkmenistan. Colleagues from the International University of Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam) and the Leibniz Institute for Crystal Growth (Germany) presented their developments. An important topic of discussion was the possibility of developing innovative methods of distance learning based on digital and intelligent technologies. The online conference demonstrated the participants’ interest in strengthening and developing scientific cooperation. According to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, digitalization is the main trend in world development, we use it in our daily life and professional activities, it expands the possibilities of communication. Consistently implementing the open door policy and broad international partnership based on the principles of positive neutrality, Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the comprehensive strengthening and development of international contacts, including in the field of science.
