During the session of the Government on March 20, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov ordered to start the sowing of cotton in Ahal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary Velayat on March 25 and in Dashoguz Velayat on March 29. It was mentioned that it is necessary to think over the strategy of this important spring campaign before the start of the cotton sowing, to provide coordinated work of all divisions involved in the campaign. At present time, the rowing and irrigation are carried out at the fields allocated for the cotton. Planters, tractors and cultivators would be used uninterruptedly all over the country during the sowing campaign. It is also planned to use new John Deere (USA) equipment, which is operated by telematics digital system.
