President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Director General of PJSC KAMAZ Sergei Kogogin. Expressing gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for the opportunity of a personal meeting, the businessman emphasized that due to the favorable investment climate, as well as the large-scale reforms, implemented in the country, business circles of foreign countries expressed keen interest in Turkmenistan. The guest confirmed the interest of the company he leads in building mutually beneficial cooperation. Welcoming the guest, the Turkmen leader noted the fruitful nature of bilateral partnership with the Republic of Tatarstan, which is dynamically developing in the framework of the interstate dialogue with the Russian Federation. Every year, these traditional ties are filled with new content, which is directly facilitated by the solid potential of Turkmen-Tatarstan cooperation. During the meeting, the head of the company acquainted the President of Turkmenistan with new areas of activity of PJSC KAMAZ, which holds a leading position among the world's leading manufacturers of trucks and special vehicles. Exchanging the views, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and his guest discussed the possibility of joint investment projects. In this context, the businessman put forward a number of proposals, taking into account the priorities of the state development of Turkmenistan. It was noted that thousands of different KAMAZ trucks have been delivered to our country during the years of partnership. The development engineers of the company improve the models of vehicles and their functional characteristics. Highly appreciating the long-term positive experience of cooperation with the largest automobile corporation of the Russian Federation, the head of state expressed interest in further supplies of high-quality equipment of the world famous brand to Turkmenistan. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that by implementing major projects in the industrial sector and transport and communications sector, including those of regional and international importance, our country relied on advanced scientific and technological thought and innovative technologies. At the same time, particular attention is paid to environmental protection. Therefore, high demands are placed on transport, including automobile transport, in terms of safety, reliability and compliance with environmental standards. Emphasizing that the Turkmen market is one of the key ones for KAMAZ, the businessman noted that he would continue taking the most responsible approach to fulfilling his partnership obligations, including construction of service centers, further training of personnel, as well as put forward a number of suggestions on introduction of advanced technologies and developments of the company. At the end of the meeting, Director General of PJSC KAMAZ Sergei Kogogin assured President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov that he would take every effort to intensify cooperation in mutual interests.
