10 million seedlings will be planted in the country during the 2020 planting campaigns

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, authorizing: Ministries and industry departments, Ashgabat Khyakimlik to ensure planting of five million seedlings in Ak Bugday and Bakherden etrap in 2020; Velayat Khakimliks – to ensure planting of five million seedlings of deciduous, coniferous, fruit trees and grapes on the territory of the regions. Ministries, branch departments, velayat and Ashgabat Khyakimliks are instructed to ensure planting of fruit tree and grape seedlings on separate land plots and their drip irrigation. The document also instructs the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection to ensure sufficient supply of grape seedlings and three-year tree seedlings to the ministries, branch departments, velayat and Ashgabat Khyakimliks, as well as to monitor planting and handling of trees.
