According to the President of Turkmenistan, the digitalization of all branches of the national economy is prioritized by the state policy. That is vividly proved by the adoption of the Concept on the development of digital economy for 2019-2025. The Concept is aimed at developing the economy and, by means of digital technologies, improving the social and living conditions of the population as well as creating conditions for bringing the services provided up to the qualitatively new level. “Pursuing the open-door policy, Turkmenistan together with its partners take an active part in reviving the Great Silk Road in a modern format. Our country has turned into an international political, business and scientific centre, the venue for regional and international conferences and forums. “This specialized international forum has brought together foreign companies and businessmen, expressing the interest in developing fruitful cooperation in the sphere of telecommunications. I believe that the forum will be of particular importance for sharing experience, developing cooperation and discussing mutually beneficial projects”, said the President of Turkmenistan in his address.
