55 transactions have been registered at the trades of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week. For foreign currency, brokers from the Russian Federation, Great Britain, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Malta, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan have purchased gasoline, hydro treated diesel fuel, lighting kerosene, petroleum bitumen, base oil, furnace oil produced at Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex. Petroleum bitumen (Seydi Refinery) and carbamide (OJSV Turkmensenagat Export – Import) were the subjects of bargain of business circles from Uzbekistan and other countries. Businessmen from UAE have also bought large-size plastic containers. In addition, cotton yarn has been sold for foreign currency to USA, UAE< Turkey, China, Ireland. Total amount of transactions exceeded 34,447,000 US dollars. For local currency, entrepreneurs from Russia, Great Britain, UAE, Kazakhstan, China, Pakistan and Armenia have bought cotton yarn to the amount of around 25,000,000 manats. For internal market, local entrepreneurs have procured cotton fibre to the amount of more than 1,417,000 manats.
