According to the President of Turkmenistan, our country with its impressive natural resources has won great authority all around the world as a large producer of energy sources and as a reliable partner. That is vividly proved by the large-scale projects implemented in the oil and gas sector, including the TAPI gas pipeline project. The sustainable growth of the national economy of Turkmenistan opens up wide opportunities for mutually beneficial partnership as well as increases the investment attractiveness. The country carries our large-scale work to increase the volumes of oil and gas production and processing, to increase the production of oil and gas products, which are of great demand on the world market. “The state takes all necessary measures to speed up the development of oil and gas deposits through attraction of foreign capital. “We take the focused efforts to diversify the oil and gas complex through modern high-technology productions. In line with the programme on development of the oil and gas sphere of Turkmenistan, it is planned to put into operation a number of gas chemical complexes and plants throughout the country. Implementation of new projects of the regional and global significance in the fuel and energy complex of the country will stand as a priority vector of the state policy.” In conclusion, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized that the acquaintance with the achievements of the oil and gas sphere of the country, innovative technologies, exchange of experience, and promotion of development of the international cooperation ranked among the key goals of the OGT-2019 conference and exhibition. The President wished the forum participants good health, prosperity and every success in their work.
