On July 18, the ancient Turkmen land, the Turkmen people, as well as all Moslems of the world, celebrated the bright holiday Oraza Bairamy, which marked the end of the holy Oraza month and 30-day fast. President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov congratulated all the people of Turkmenistan on the Oraza Bairamy, emphasizing great importance of the holiday which symbolizes the triumph of such high cultural values, as humanism, philanthropy, kind-heartedness and moral purity. Early in the morning, holiday public prayers were offered in all the mosques of Turkmenistan, testifying that the happy Turkmen people, as well as millions of people throughout the world, widely and in the spirit-stirring atmosphere celebrate this age-old God-blessed holiday. The Ukase of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov issued in run up to the Omnipotence Night – the holy Gadyrgijesi, made yet more joyful this truly merciful holiday Oraza Bairamy. In accordance with Ukase, more than a thousand of the convicted persons were pardoned and returned homes, having received an opportunity to change their fates, to repent and expiate their fault towards society by their honest work. On the occasion of Oraza Bairamy, the festive events were held in Ashgabat and all cities and villages of Turkmenistan.
