XX World Crossbow Championship has finished in Ulyanovsk (Russian Federation). It became a record by the number of participants – more than 350 sportsmen took part in it. 35 states of the world have sent their best archers for participation in the tournament, which was held under the aegis of International Archer Union (IAU). Our country was no exception, it was represented at the World championship by Chairman of the Archer Federation of Turkmenistan Vepa Sahedov. Representative of Turkmen archers gained 1,451 points in discipline Crossbow shooting among sportsmen who started training in 2019. Performance of Vepa Sahedov at the anniversary 2019 World Championship has resulted in the first place and the title of World Champion.
