The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing the Agency for Protection against Economic Risks under the Ministry of Finance and Economy to do analytical work in the context of export-import commodity operations in the foreign economic activity of Turkmenistan, analyze the goods, the situation and services on the world market, as well as develop proposals for improving foreign economic activity. The document also approved the Regulation on this Agency and its structure. The State Committee on Statistics, the State Customs Service and the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange are required to provide the Agency with information on the export and import of goods on a monthly basis. The agency is authorized to collect the relevant information about individuals and legal entities engaged in foreign economic activity. The Agency for Protection against Economic Risks under the Ministry of Finance and Economics jointly with the Ministry of Justice is authorized to prepare proposals on amending the legislation of Turkmenistan arising from this Resolution and submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers within a month.
