Early last week, “last bell” rang for the scores of thousands of secondary school graduates of our country. This year’s “last bell” ceremonies and festivities in the secondary education schools of Turkmenistan are of specific nature. First ever, they are held in the schools after the country transferred to the 12-year secondary general education system in compliance with the Resolution of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov of March 1, 2013. By the good tradition, the best school graduated took part in the grand ceremonies of laying flowers to the magnificent monuments symbolizing the prosperity of the Motherland. As an incentive, to encourage excellent study, the active vital position, success in the intellectual, creative and sporting competitions, the country’s best school graduates from various towns of Turkmenistan were invited to visit the capital of the country. In the evening, in the territory near the “Arkadag” Monument, a grand concert was held devoted to Ashgabat City Day, to the startup of new monuments, and to the countrywide ”farewell-school” ceremonies and parties, in the course of which the Welcoming Message of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov was read. In the ceremonious atmosphere, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan the distinguished school graduates were awarded valuable gifts, Honorable Diplomas of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the flowers. The celebrations devoted to Ashgabat City Day, startup of new monuments, and to the countrywide ”farewell-school” ceremonies and parties were concluded with the festive fireworks.
