In the frames of the holiday events devoted to the Day of City, the opening in the Turkmenbashi Avenue of the National Trade Centre of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan took place in the capital. Constructed in 1995, the building was reconstructed by the “Nur-Zaman” individual enterprise. The area of the updated facility is 13.5 hectares; the area of the National Trade Centre itself is more than 4 thousand square meters. On the ground floor of the Center, there are a 565-seat Banquet Hall, a 430 sq m supermarket, and a furniture store. The second floor also houses a 135-seat Banquet Hall, as well as the administrative offices and ancillary premises. The Complex of Shopping Centre includes two confectionary cafes (582-square-meter area each).
