Integrated development of educational system, bringing of it to new level are the main vectors of the state policy of Turkmenistan. In this context, special importance is paid to the reform of high school, which is to become an efficient source of professionals for different branches of national economy. In his programme speech at the session in the Academy of Science on June 12, the President noted that development and strengthening of economic, cultural, scientific and educational potential of the country is a priority objective. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Order on Foundation of the Instituted of Telecommunications and Information of Turkmenistan. Undoubtedly, it will significantly expand the use of latest achievements of national and world science, information technologies in educational process will support the activation of research activity. The decisions of the Head of the State on re-organization of the Institute of Municipal Services into the Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan was also a remarkable milestone in the context of current reforms. Having signed the Resolution on Rename of National Institute of Sports and Tourism of Turkmenistan to Turkmen State Institute of Physical Training and Sports, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov initiated re-organization of this institute for further development of mass physical training and sports of high achievements, improvement of the methods of training of high-level specialists, masters of sports, highly qualified coaches. It will give the opportunity to the Institute to concentrate its activity on sport component and in the meantime to combine the training of personnel for tourism sphere with the sphere responsible for development of culture, which meets the tendencies of development of the world travel and holiday industry. In this regard, the Head of the State signed the Resolution on Improvement of activity of Turkmen State Institute of Culture. In addition, the Head of the State signed the Resolution on Approval of the structure of high educational institutes of Turkmenistan, which outlines specific measures fr reforms taking into account time realities, creation of comprehensive system of training of personnel on the level of the world standards in the country. It was mentioned at the meeting in the Academy of Sciences that it is necessary to transfer these high educational institute to self-financing system gradually for further modernization and enhancement of financial and economic conditions of educational facilities with commercial form of study, development and expansion of international cooperation in educational sphere. Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the implementation of digital methods, advanced computer and multimedia equipment, transfer of secondary schools to 12-year education among the next important and fundamental measures. Big work has been carried out for improvement of educational and methodological provision of education facilities including publishing modern books, in development of which school teachers, leading specialists of the Ministry of Education, professors and lecturers of high educational institutes, personnel of the Academy of Sciences were actively involved. Setting important objectives to the teams of authors, the Head of the State highlights that modern school is not only well-equipped educational base for training of intellectual and harmonically developed youth but also the base for maximum realization of intellectual potential of the nation. Comprehensive modernization of educational sphere has brought actual novelties in school time-table, to which such disciplines as the bases of economics, cultural heritage of Turkmenistan, world culture, modelling and graphics, information, communication and innovative technologies have been introduced together with basic disciplines. Objectives of training of qualified personnel according to the programme of digitization defined the creation of specialized secondary schools in the country, which are aimed at deep study of chemistry, biology and other disciplines. Decision on the increment of number of foreign languages studied by school students was another step in this direction. Issues of international educational exchanges are included to the agenda of almost all meetings of Head of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with foreign colleagues, which is reflected in the documents signed by the outcomes of high-level talks. For example, the Memorandum on Cooperation between the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan and Kazan State Energy University, Agreement on Cooperation between the Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technologies of Turkmenistan and autonomic non-commercial organization of high education the Innopolis University, Agreement on Cooperation between Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management and Kazan Federal University have been signed recently during working trip of the Head of the State to the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation. Entry of national education to the world level implies the range of objectives, which are successfully solved in Turkmenistan. First of all, this is related to the opening if international education facilities, construction of high schools and other educational facilities provided with modern equipment, implementation of latest information and communication technologies including high speed access to the world data base via internet and electronic libraries. Solution of the objectives set by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to scientific and educational sphere will be another important step in training of personnel of new formation.
