President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Board Chairman of Çalik Holding Group Ahmet Chalyk. Having expressed the gratitude for spared time, the businessman congratulated the Head of the State on the opening of the only plant in the world for production of ecological friendly synthetic gasoline from natural gas. Ahmet Chalyk highlighted that it is great honour for his Holding to cooperate with our country. At the meeting, the Head of Çalik Holding informed the Head of the State about the situation at the facilities entrusted to the company including on the course of works for construction of 500 KV power line along Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan – India transnational gas line. It was mentioned that jointly developed programme, which includes specific proposals on activation of productive cooperation with Turkish Çalik Holding in energy sector, is to become a reliable base of fruitful dialog. In this regard, it was informed that construction is carried out as per the schedule. Innovations implemented to the branch as well as huge gas reserves of the country, which is the most efficient and eco-friendly fuel for power stations today, support efficient solution of the objectives of this strategic section of national economy, Turkmen leader stated. Construction of Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan power line would give opportunity for export of energy by transit to other countries of Southeastern Asian, which governments repeatedly spoke of their interest in fast implementation of this project. The sides also spoke about the invitation of the President of Turkmenistan to Çalik Holding to participate in the first Caspian Economic Forum. In the end of the meeting, having expressed the gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for trust, Ahmet Chalyk highlighted the intent to take most active part in the implementation of reformation programmes initiated by Turkmen leader.
