Session of the Council of the Heads of the CIS Governments to be held in Turkmen capital on May 31

Ashgabat prepares to regular session of the Council of the Heads of the Governments of the Commonwealth of Independent States planned on May 31. Necessary organization work is carried out at present time. The agenda of the session will include wide spectrum of issues of economic and humanitarian directions of cooperation in the CIS format. It is planned to sign number of documents by the outcomes of the session. It was informed to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov by Vice-premier, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov at the session of the Government on May 24. In this regard, the Head of the State noted that development of constructive partnership in the Commonwealth format is one of priority vectors of foreign strategy of neutral Turkmenistan, which while being an associated members of the CIS makes actual input to the strengthening of interstate relations that have significant potential in different spheres. Chairing of our country in the CIS this year, under which number of important events has been planned, is aimed at the achievement of these goals.
