Turkmenistan national team had success at the 4th International Turkish Open Kickboxing European Cup, having won five medals including two gold, one silver and two bronze medals. Student of the State Architecture and Construction Institute Pygy Sylabov (weight category up to 60 kg) became the champion in K-1 discipline. Our sportsmen won four medals in full-contact discipline. Gochmyrat Jumaniyazov from the Kickboxing Federation of Turkmenistan had no one equal to him and won the gold in the weight category up to 75 kg. Yazberdy Payanov 9up to 57 kg), the member of the Kickboxing Federation of Turkmenistan, won silver medal. Students of the State Art Academy Akmyrat Akiyev (up to 67kg) and Muhammet Gurbanov (up to 81 kg), who represents Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, won bronze medals. More than 2,000 sportsmen from European and Asian countries compete for the medals at International Kickboxing Cup in the Republic of Turkey every year. Despite such strong competition, five our countrymen were the prize winners of these prestige contest confirming the statement that stability is a sign of skills.
