58 transactions have been registered at the trades of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan last week. For foreign currency, the brokers from Great Britain, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Turkey, Afghanistan, Estonia, Kyrgyzstan and other countries have bought low-sulphur heavy fuel oil, base oil, diesel fuel and gasoline produced by Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex. Businessmen from Afghanistan have also procured diesel fuel made at Seydi Refinery. High density polyethylene and polypropylene of Kiyanly polymeric plant were the subjects of bargain between the entrepreneurs from Russian, UAE and Hong Kong. In addition, colourless glass, Portland cement, medical supplies, cotton yarn and cotton fibre have been sold for foreign currency to Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan. Total amount of transactions has exceeded 156,951,000 US dollars. For manats, the businessmen from China, Great Britain and Afghanistan procured cotton yarn and medical supplies to total amount of more than 7,671,000 manats. For internal market, local entrepreneurs have bought cotton fibre to the amount of more than 338,000 manats.
