A meeting with the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The meeting agenda focused on the key aspects of the development of the Turkmen-Russian dialogue and the prospects for enhancing the bilateral cooperation. The exchange of opinions on the important aspects of the regional and international problems took place during the meeting. The parties expressed the mutual aspiration for strengthening the constructive relations and continuing the practices of regular consultations between the foreign-policy agencies of the two states. The 2019-2020 programme on cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia was signed on the outcomes of the meeting. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov gave a lecture at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
