Celebrations on occasion of the International Neutrality Day took place all around the country with the main activities in the capital where President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has laid flowers to the Monument of Neutrality. Thousands of Ashgabat residents and foreign guests have gathered on the square in front of the Monument. Speaker and deputies of the Mejlis, deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and departments, ambassadors of Turkmenistan to foreign states, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in our country, representatives of public organizations and mass media, elders, youth and students were among the participants of the ceremony. The participants greeted President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The Head of the State walked along the line of soldiers of the Guard of Honour. National anthem of Turkmenistan was played. The President laid flowers to memorial slab at the foot of the Monument of Independence. Turkmen leader was followed by the Speaker of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and other participants of the event. Shortly, entire square of the complex was covered with bright flower carpet. After the ceremony, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said warm goodbye to the participants and left the place of event.
