President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on Pardoning of Convicted Citizens on Occasion of the International Neutrality Day, according to which 796 citizens of the country are released from further custodial sentence. At the video conference session, the Head of the State ordered Minister of Interior I. Mulikov and the heads of law enforcement agencies to take all necessary measures to release pardoned citizens from the custody and return them home to their families. Holding pardoning actions, we make the conditions for people who regretted their crimes would be able to atone their gilt by honest work, the President said.
