While at the gas chemical complex, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a meeting with Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çalik Holding Ahmet Çalik. After thanking for the personal audience, the businessman heartily congratulated the head of state on the significant event. Having wished the head of state good health and success in his multifaceted work, the guest expressed his firm belief that the international community highly praises the achievements of Turkmenistan, which boasts rapid development. As noted, Turkey’s business circles evince keen interest in enhancing the longstanding productive cooperation with Turkmenistan and participating in the massive development programs ongoing in our country. Noting the fruitful, traditionally friendly character of the Turkmen-Turkish relations that are well and clearly exemplified by large joint projects, and highlighting that Turkmenistan is always open to mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign partners, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed his satisfaction with the Turkish company’s effective operation in the Turkmen market. During the meeting, the parties exchanged opinions on the current status and prospects of cooperation in various fields and discussed possibilities for expanding business relations, particularly, given the plans to fully modernize Turkmenistan’s electric power infrastructure and increase Turkmen electricity exports. The Chairman of Çalik Holding also informed the head of state about the work done to make the carbamide plant in Garabogaz operate at full capacity, as well as about the implementation progress of some other joint projects, including the construction of an international treatment and cosmetology center in Ashgabat. At the end of the meeting, Ahmet Çalik expressed his gratitude to the head of state for the opportunity to meet in person and discuss the priority issues and key areas of cooperation, having highlighted that Çalik Holding highly valued the trust placed in it and would continue to fulfill its partner commitments in a serious and responsible manner.
