President of Turkmenistan Offers Condolences to Iranian Colleague over Terrorist Attack in Ahvaz

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov offered deep condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, over the terrorist attack on the military parade in Ahvaz that led to loss of life and injuries. “Turkmenistan resolutely condemns all manifestations of terrorism and extremism, and fully supports global efforts towards countering and eradicating this scourge”, states the letter. In this time of sorrow, on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan and on his own behalf, the head of state expressed deepest sympathy and support to the bereaved families and relatives, and the wishes for speedy recovery to the injured.
